PEOPLE LAWRENCE MET IN AUSTRALIA

WHILE in Australia, Lawrence and Freida met a number of people - despite Frieda's avowal that when they were living at Thirroul they "met no-one and saw no-one". This is a photo album of some of the people they had contact with during their stay in Australia. Unfortunately, we do not have any images of Mrs Zabel, the owner of the Booklovers' Library in Perth, who was also a "stringer" for a local newspaper, and who interviewed Lawrence when he and Frieda arrived at Fremantle. (If anyone knows of a photograph of her, please Contact us.)
